Because many
solo practitioners, independent professionals,
and entrepreneurs are uneasy with attracting clients—due largely to self-promotion reluctance,
inadequate marketing strategies, and ineffective marketing
conversion from lead to retained client—Dr. Signe created
a soft-sell approach: her education-based relationship
Educate To Connect
Method.
Her
coaching and consulting show private practice
psychotherapists and other solo professionals how to reduce their discomfort, multiply clients and
referrals inexpensively and with integrity. Her
marketing system uses strategic
relationship and communication tactics to create visibility,
credibility, rapport, trust, liking, solid
relationships to recruit, convert, and retain clients
and gain their loyalty.
A member of International Coach Federation and International Association of
Coaches, she coaches internationally. Dr. Signe
has done marketing consultation and coaching with
psychotherapists, attorneys, aesthetic practitioners, dentists, health consultants, clinical nutritionists, coaches, TV producers, management consultants, CEOs, software
developers, and
health care organizations, such as
Health Action New Mexico.
To add
to her offline marketing expertise, she has taken
courses with Internet marketing experts such as Paul
Hartunian, Alex Mandossian, Armand Morin, Jim
Edwards, Trey Ryder, Dr. Jeff Herring, Drs. Judith Sherven and Jim

215 published newspaper, magazine, blog posts, and Internet articles and has been quoted in
publications including Industry Week, Wall Street

Interested
in public perceptions of professionals and how they
can be changed, she
has conducted two national surveys to assess (1) what
factors lawyers and the public see as contributing to
the increasing negative perception by the public of lawyers as a
group, (2) how this negative perception impacts lawyers'
attracting and helping clients, and (3) what individual
lawyers can do to create positive, relationship-based, profitable
visibility and credibility. She is also
currently surveying lawyers on what strategies they
have found to be particularly effective for their
individual practices. This will be the basis of a
white paper on creating positive visibility and
credibility.
Dr.
Signe is also "kitty mom" to rescued "special needs"
cats and socializes rescued
animals for non-profit CARMA (Companion Animal Rescue
