To Connect
Method (ETCM)
is a 6-session virtual program.
Specifically, contact is carried out
by telephone in a 55-minute teleseminar format every
two weeks, with supplementary e-mail, fax, and website
information.
In addition to the two
monthly conference calls, you can e-mail me once every
two weeks (that is twice a month) for feedback to help
keep you focused and on track
You will also receive
exercises, assignments, examples or what works and
what does not, and useful resources. You will be
expected to keep a daily log of what you are doing and
the results you are getting.
You
will gain an understanding of the common obstacles and
challenges of the therapy "business" and develop a tool
bag of strategies and solutions for them. You will
base your vision on client values and connecting with
clients in a whole new educational way. You will
re-define your entrepreneurial goals and how to
achieve them with purpose, confidence, conviction, and
commitment.
Session
1 - Go over your Current Marketing Assessment which
you will have received and done prior to the first
session. This will detail
where you are now, what you have been doing that works
and does not work, what your strengths and weaknesses
are, and where you want to go with your business.
Emphasis will be on your practice as a business.
Session
2 - Determine what your core message and vision and
mission statements are, how effective they are and how
they can be tweaked to be even better, and how you are
communicating them to your prospects.
Session
3 - Address benefits of soft-sell marketing versus
hard-sell marketing, the need for relationship-based
educational marketing, and how to overcome marketing
reluctance which often holds professionals back from
growing their practice. Emphasis will be on
establishing an entrepreneurial mindset.
Session
4 - Create an education-based marketing plan
which focuses on your relationship with your client as
well as your professionalism and integrity. Create
strategies and implement tactics for visibility so you
can be seen as an authority and accessible resource.
Session
5 - Develop greater credibility with varied media,
including your website, so prospects will see you as
the caring expert who understands and can help them
solve their problems, and clients will refer to you.
This call will also have a brainstorming session to
help you be more flexible and expand your specific
marketing options.
Session
6 - Track your marketing from attraction of prospects
to conversion to clients and look at how your office
appearance and staff performance contribute to your
marketing message. Consider whether coaching would add
to your ability to help clients and help your bottom
line.
With
this information, you will create a customized marketing
plan for yourself that is SMART
- Specific
- Measurable
- Achievable
- Realistic
- Time limited.

We
meet once or twice a week for 30 minutes per session to discuss
what you have done, what results you have achieved, what

your goal systematically, step-by-step. We can deal
with any aspect of your practice and marketing and how
you relate to it.
Consulting:
You
can schedule time for individual telephone consultation
or a conference call
with your practice people. I will respond to
your questions, offer comments and suggestions as
feedback, and
recommend steps you can take to achieve your marketing
goals.
Research has shown that a well-defined goal, strategic plan, core message, commitment,
laser focus, client-orientation, and persistence are the keys to positive change and achievement but especially
to private practice marketing success.
Fees
are based on the nature of the service and the time
required and are usually charged at $400 per hour.
When you

request payment in advance—at the time I make your
appointment.
Seminars
and Teleseminars:
I
offer seminars and teleseminars on education-based
relationship marketing
to professional associations and groups. I can present
seminars in person or by telephone as a teleseminar. I base seminar
fees on the length of the presentation, the size of
the group, the preparation time required, travel
and distance, as well as the time I will be out
of my
office. If you'd like me to address your group, please
do not hesitate to call.
